Georgia EMS Refresher

FOAMfrat Studio offers CAPCE-accredited continuing education courses accepted by the NREMT for Massachusetts EMTs, AEMTs, and Paramedics—meeting both national and state-specific requirements.

To maintain an active EMS license in Georgia, EMTs, EMT-Is, AEMTs, Cardiac Technicians, and Paramedics must complete a total of 40 hours of state- or CAPCE-approved continuing education every renewal cycle. This must include 8 hours of pediatric topics, 4 hours of cardiovascular topics (covering STEMI and stroke), 4 hours of trauma topics, and 24 hours of general EMS topics, excluding CPR and ACLS content. While renewing National Registry certification is not required for state recertification, completing the full 40 hours of approved education is mandatory to keep your Georgia EMS license current.
