Illinois EMS Refresher
FOAMfrat Studio offers CAPCE-accredited continuing education courses accepted by the NREMT for Illinois EMTs, AEMTs, and Paramedics—meeting both national and state-specific requirements
Illinois licensees must renew every 4 years, completing a total of 60 hours of continuing medical education for EMT, 80 hours of continuing medical education for AEMT and EMT-Intermediate, and 100 hours of continuing medical education for Paramedic.
Additional Information:
Providers cannot have more than 20% continuing education in one subject area, such as trauma, medical or cardiac.
Providers must complete at least one one-hour course of training on the diagnosis, treatment, and care of individuals with Alzheimer's disease or other dementias
