North Carolina EMS Refresher
FOAMfrat Studio offers CAPCE-accredited continuing education courses accepted by the NREMT for North Carolina EMTs, AEMTs, and Paramedics—meeting both national and state-specific requirements
North Carolina follows NREMT requirements for EMS recertification. All certifications are renewed every two years and follow the National Continued Competency Program (NCCP) model with three components: national, local/state, and individual education components. North Carolina EMT, AEMT and Paramedic certifications must be renewed every four years from date of issuance.
EMT Refresher
80 hours total continuing education required
National: 40 Hours
Local/State: 20 Hours
Individual: 20 Hours
