What CE is offered and is this course an approved IBSC course?
The course consists of 36 CE hours for both nurses and paramedics. This course is approved by the IBSC to meet the requirements of the 16 hours that must be obtained by completing an approved review course for FP-C and CCP-C. Our nursing CE is approved by the Emergency Nurses Association. The Emergency Nurses Association is accredited as an approver of continuing nursing education by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation (ANCC); Activity number: 190601-KY-CR-1. All Paramedic CE hours are awarded through the Commission on Accreditation for Pre-Hospital Continuing Education - CAPCE. Please note: If using the 36 CAPCE approved hours for National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians - NREMT recertification, 35 total hours will count toward recertification in the distance continuing education category (F3). This includes 10 F3 CE hours for the "National Component", 10 hours for the "Local or State Component", and 15 hours for the "Individual Component". Each state nursing or EMS board will have different requirements for distance continuing education hours. As such, please check with your state board for distance CE hour allocation.
What experience should I have before taking this course?

With that being said, we pride ourselves on our ability to deliver this material in an easy to understand manner similar to the style we use on The FlightBridgeED Podcast. The delivery method is key to understanding and we have invested an enormous amount of time to ensure our students we present the material with clarity and intention.
