We frequently get questions asking why we don't seperate our content into different EMS or nursing levels. We thought really hard about this. We even had different level providers take the course to see if they thought it was too elementary or too difficult for them. The best compliment that we continue to get from service leaders is that they can sit a brand new EMT, or a seasoned CFRN / FP-C down in our course and they will both learn something practice changing. If a concept is explained and illustrated properly, it doesn't matter if the student is a lay person or a physician, they should both be able to understand what is being presented - and it's working.
You will gain access to both when you sign up.
We have a library of pre-recorded (F3) content that you can do at your own pace. You can do as much or as little of this content, since you get a certificate of completion for each course, not just one big certification at the end. This allows you to pick and choose which courses you would like to complete. Of note is that our mechanical ventilation course is included in this section of the course (normally $99.99 by itself). This library of courses is always being expanded, and will never stop growing. There are currently over 60 hours of content in our recorded library.
There is also ~14 unique classes each week, and each week if different throughout the month, giving you about 60 different classes you can attend throughout the month. Like the pre-recorded content, these classes are always being added to each month for new opporunties to learn. The schedule is updated every weekend for the following week.
For EMS, which usually needs a mix of live instructor lead content (F5) and pre-recorded content (F3), we offer all the classes you need to complete your NREMT.
Yes. For EMS we hold go through FlightBridgeED for our CAPCE accreditation, which can be applied to your state license (any level), NREMT certification (any level), or used towards FP-C / CCP-C renewal.
For nurses, we use ENA (Emergency Nurses Association) accreditation through FlightBridgeED, as well as Kentucky Board of Nurses accreditation. Check with your state to see if these accrediting bodies work for you. Regardless of state, you can use our course for your CEN, CFRN, or CCRN certifications.
This continuing nursing education activity was approved by the Emergency Nurses Association, an accredited approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation.
Yes. You can import directly into NREMT via CAPCE with real-time reporting.
Absolutely. The classes break down difficult topics very well, and you will have a much better understanding of concepts you need to pass your NREMT.
Unfortunately we do not. There is currently no universal system for automatic uploading to each state. This means that you will have to keep track of the certificates that you earn. When a system like this does become available, we will do our best to ease the process for everyone.
Your membership is 1 year in length.
We focus on creativity and practicality. We want the you to be entertained, and then realize that you didn't waste your time on something you're not even sure how to apply to your practice. We don't do any death by powerpoint, and instead focus on illustration, understanding, and application.

The number of hours is always increasing, since we write and record new content every month. The best way to get an accurate number of hours we offer is to do our free membership and look at the classes for yourself. However, here is an approximation which is accurate from the beginning of October 2020:
Airway / Respiratory / Ventilation: 12 hours of recorded classes, and 18 different live classes that we cycle through.
Cardiovascular: 16 hours of recorded classes, and 26 different live classes that we cycle through.
Trauma: 12 hours of recorded classes, and 20 different live classes that we cycle through.
Medical (included peds and OB/GYN: 20 hours of recorded classes, and 36 different live classes that we cycle through.
Operations: 10 hours of recorded classes, and 10 different live classes that we cycle through.
Critical Care: 12 hours of recorded classes (there may be 24 by the time you're reading this) and 12 different live classes that we cycle through. There are also classes in the other sections that people count as critical care, such as the 'trauma ventilation' class in the trauma section, or the introduction to lab values class in the medical section. Check out the free membership for a list of the critical care classes that we're adding before the end of 2020.
This makes a little over 80 hours of recorded content and over 100 different hours of live content that we cycle through at different times. Don't worry, you don't need to do all the classes. You can process a CE for each class individually, which means you can do as much or as little as you would like. Again, doing our trail membership and getting some free CE will give you a much better idea of how this course works - it's actually very easy to navigate and figure out once you get inside the members area. To get access to the free membership just do to the top of the home page and fill the form out, you'll get login information emailed to you.
All certificates communicate with NREMT and allow ease of transfer after completion. Students maintain access to all the above for one year from the day of purchase. All hours are awarded via Commission on Accreditation for Pre-Hospital Continuing Education (CAPCE) for EMS providers as well as the ENA and KBN for nursing providers.
