Wisconsin EMS Refresher
FOAMfrat Studio offers CAPCE-accredited continuing education courses accepted by the NREMT for Wisconsin EMTs, AEMTs, and Paramedics—meeting both national and state-specific requirements
Wisconsin follows NREMT requirements for EMS recertification. All certifications are renewed every two years and follow the National Continued Competency Program (NCCP) model with three components: national, local/state, and individual education components

40 hours total continuing education required
National: 20 Hours

AEMT Refresher
50 hours total continuing education required
National: 25 Hours
Local/State: 12.5 Hours
Individual: 12.5 Hours
Paramedic Refresher
60 hours total continuing education required
National: 30 Hours
Local/State: 15 Hours
Individual: 15 Hours

Paramedic license with Critical Care endorsement: In addition to the requirements for renewal of your Paramedic license, you have completed a 24-hour critical care refresher.
