California EMS Refresher
FOAMfrat Studio offers CAPCE-accredited continuing education courses accepted by the NREMT for California EMTs, AEMTs, and Paramedics—meeting both national and state-specific requirements
California EMS providers are required to recertify every two years. During each certification period, providers must complete a specified number of continuing education hours based on their level of certification.
EMT Refresher
24 hours total continuing education required
50% of continuing education hours must be completed through live instruction, which can be fulfilled by attending FOAMfrat’s live instructor-led classes.
EMT Intermediate
36 hours total continuing education required
50% of continuing education hours must be completed through live instruction, which can be fulfilled by attending FOAMfrat’s live instructor-led classes.
Paramedic
48 hours total continuing education required
50% of continuing education hours must be completed through live instruction, which can be fulfilled by attending FOAMfrat’s live instructor-led classes.
